EDIT - CORRECTION: the boat was worth $1.8 Million USD.

I found these on another forum; I think they speak for themselves. The boat pictured is worth about $1.3 million USD.

In this one you can see where the dual prop shafts have been torn right out of the hull.

Holy shit look at the guy in the second pic hanging on at the back!

Yeah, that must be quite a shock to suddenly flip 90 degrees

holy CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

please tell me there is a story to go along with those pics!

Just not their lucky day.

That's gotta fucking suck. Hopefully the crane company or whoever has insurance.

Please tell me there's a story or something!

Second picture is an all time great shot.

We demand a story.

That second picture is just asking to be a "forum message image". *right-click > save* !

Look at the guy at the back of the boat in Piccie 2. Wonder what he was thinking!!

I don't know the story behind this, as I only found the pictures posted in a yachting forum (quite by accident). The only comments were about the type of boat and its value as well as some careful consideration of whether it's a photoshop job. The consensus was that the photos are genuine.

The boatyard's insurance would have to cover the damages.

the glare off the water was too bright....jpg

Reminded me about this pic I found. Sorry, no story, though there is the fact that you can read "Temporary Insanity II" on the side. Wonder what happened to "Temporary Insanity I?"
