Hello everybody,

Do you know http://www.moviemistakes.com/ ?

It's a website where people upload mistakes spotted in movies, so we all can read them and watch movies again - differently.

Have familiar with the website and let's begin pointing out the things which Top Gear production team hardly tried to hide from viewers.





Audio problem: In episode 9x04, right after the Robin crashes into pieces (58:25) - Richard says something to James but we can't hear it. James replies "that's why".

Visible crew/equipment: In episode 9x01, when doing roadworks - I can see something that may be a boom-mic above James' head. That wouldn't be odd if it wasn't partially erased from the picture. Timecode (15:09)

Continuity: In episode 2x04 during news segment (8:46) - Jeremy commits to eat Vauxhall's receptionist's dog if the new 3 door Astra looked like one on the picture. Few episodes later 2x10 - also during news segment (11:54) - Richard mentions that Clarkson said he will eat his hair. In episode 05x01 (23:03) we can see Jeremy's eating his own hair.

I think you will find that when it crashed, Richard made a groaning noise, then James tried to start something along the lines of "That's why they don't launch Robins into space", but Richard was still in shock and cut James off before he could finish his sentence.
 
Before James says "that's why" we can see Richard is mouthing something we can't hear. I think James' "that's why..." was an answer.
 
No that is just Richard's jaw moving. Richard didn't say anything. As HondaF1 said May was about to complete a sentence and was interupted by Hammond regaining his voice.

Richard is saying something in there. I could bet on it. I picked that up after maybe 15 displays of this episode. It isn't obvious.
 
When James says "that's why" he isn't responding to anything - he's beginning to say something. ie "that's why..... we should have just tested some cars instead." but Richard cut him off with "how are you gonna use it again!?!"

I think it looks like Richard said something because he was stammering and struggling to get any words out. You can se him going 'yamma yamma hamma heey' then he composes himself and takes a big gulp and speaks clearly.
 
Fuck what Richard is saying, that boom mike thing is really weird. It looks like the output of some of my DirectX experiments.
 
In the episode were Jeremy races the mountain climbers up the mountain with the RS4, the editing shows the drivers window down then up showing different takes when he reaches the top and starts talking to the mountain climbers.

Isn't it obvious? In Australia, there is nothing outside but sand and kangaroos, dur.

it was raining in sydney and fucking cold in melbourne today :S

my flight from sydney to melbourne involved me sitting next to a guy who looked like the captain out of das boot
