47, you sooo should've entered that for the current Bi-weekly photo competition - the current one's subject is "night".

Would be so good without the tilt!

Damn, at first I didn't notice it myself but after I posted the picture, I thought "well, it's not _that_ tilted, it's ok"...but now that you mentioned it, I'll have to straighten it :-D Well, I'll do it tomorrow, now: sleep ->

edit: Now it's pretty much as straight as it should be.

Dah! Both of you were at LeMans?!

Someday...someday I'll make it to the motorsport mecca...

:D But if it makes you feel better, it was raining alot :p

I went out to Karlsruhe to take some snaps and it instantly started raining cats and dogs. I ran to a shelter and found myself to a very blue wall.

Thanks for the comments guys! Yup, they were 'Haribo'.

flamingice - any chance I could grab that in high-res (to suit 1280 * 1024) - it'd make a great desktop :D

I don't think it looks so good with that aspect ratio... but sure, here it is.

A shot from a while ago: The downside of being able to drink in public. And I have no idea how I ended up behind the riot police line...

Gadzooks Flamingice- you've been all over! That's quite the shot, looks like very photojournalistic.

I see your point (I'm still using it though :D) - any chance of a 1280-wide version of the one you posted? I'll just use a black background to fill the gaps top and bottom. Cheers.

Had an exam today, so I dragged something a bit from my collection of backlogged images. I seem to have a love for macro photography right now.

Martyn: that photo looks absolutely gorgeous.

Yeah lol, it actually seemed quite necessary here really.

Do you use lightroom? or photoshop for that matter, and if you process single RAW files, you can pull down the exposure tab and pull up Fill Light, to get a similar HDR-like effect.
