lovin' the broken Maybach hood ornament lol.

who would of thought that a big German sedan like that would be up there breathing down some of the world's greatest supercars' necks?

Cool line up, althugh the fastest car looks pretty ridiculous! The Sportec Porsche looks pretty neat, but a blown oil pipe indicates that some of those cars aren't built for eternity.

the G-Power M5 and Sportec Porsche were both last second builds being that both were unveiled to the public via the internet not too long ago.

samething happened to Livernois with their Mustang. it was a last minute build and it had electrical problems the whole time it was at the Texas Mile and that limited it to only doing 180mph runs.

I'm surprised the M5s did not get faster speeds without the limited they do 205 mph, they should run a stock one for this in as well as the others, in my opinion.

I have to say that Edo Murcielago looks really good! The picture from the side makes it look almost as good as a Lamborghini Diablo :p

Then just say that if they go for a record run they should do it properly and put some effort into the reliability as well instead of getting wrecked on the test run.

A GOLF!!!! DOING 330KM/H!!!!!! MADNESS!!!!! surprised the Lambo didn't go faster, that Sportec car looks insane.

How the hell can one of the TT BiMoto's 1.8L turbo engines produce 510 HP??!??!?!???

AND WTF??? A GOLF DOING 205 MPH??????????!!?!????

Where were the Enzos, 599s and the F430s? You think they'd take Italian cars to the Italian ring, but no, just a bunch of Germans with their [German] tuner machines...

Speaking of tuner cars they could've at least taken the Hamann Ferraris, like the F430 Black Miracle or the Hamann 599 GTB.

are you saying an engine smaller than 2L can't make 500+hp?

Tis difficult, I don't know if an engine like that could be stable, it must have had some radical shit done to it. Thread on that car in particular: rawr

martin hadland (think thats his name) had a 500bhp+ escort cosworth for a long time (before he rolled it on the gumball) and thats only a 2liter turbo (though is a master piece from the men at cosworth)

that thing could out do nearly every other supercar brought on the gumball that year in 0-60 sprints. 500bhp from a 2 liter or less really isnt unheard of or that remarkable imo.

we have a 1500bhp cosworth engine sat in one of our thermo labs on display and thats only 1.5 liters (granted it is a F1 engine) and its got two massive turbos! (but would probably need stripping down after use since 1500bhp was qualifying trim)

I love the color on that Sportec SPR1 911 - the matte green with flat black wheels - might paint the bike up like that. The gunmetal on the Lambo is pretty nice too.

In Norway at the Gatebil events, 500 hp Cosvorts with those 2-litre engines are no rare sight. Not far from where I live there is one of the most profiled Ford tuners in Scandinavia, Jens Hannestad (Jenspeed Engineering) who specialises in these engines. His record to date is a fully driveable one rated at 870 hp. (Does have a habit of blowing it's head gasket now and then, though...)

Audi's 2-litre four-pot isn't the storgest engine though, as the ones in the car in the BiMoto TT does have a record of blowing up during these tests...
