I'd like to know that too. There are places where you can cut the track on FE Club, but that's like 2 secs faster than the WR images/smilies/blink.gif

unless he was pushed. I tried it with Andy or Mischief. They pushed me on SO with a FOX (I was in a XFG orso). I got a PB that is under the WR. 8)

WR is almost a whole second faster, and I've no clue where that comes from. I watched replay of the guy with same setup, though it's not wr anymore, and I can't seem to find out where to get that 1second more. Currently I've got 53:680, which is quite pathetic I'd say, but no matter how I drove it, couldn't get faster. I tried smooth lines, I tried throwing in into the corner with lots of understeer and power, same result. Average 53:8, occasionally a bit better, sometimes a bit slower if I hit the curb on 1st corner or run a bit wide in the end.

Good combo though, should be fun if we get a full server. Fuel and tires are not an issue at all, which makes life a lot easier. images/smilies/smile.gif

I honestly dont know! images/smilies/blink.gif

I dont remember ever being pushed to make my lap faster...maybe a LFSW bug? Usually I do around mid 53-54.

maybe you set that time on a earlier patch. After that the physics changed those times can not be broken anymore...

I had higher hopes yesterday when I was quicker in practice than Firefox and I read that Pdanev couldn't find any more speed, but I guess I should have known better.

Oh well, I drove as well as I could and I had a good battle with Pdanev, so I'm satisfied.

Was a decent race tonight. images/smilies/smile.gif

1st race - terrible start, fps drop all of a sudden, game froze a bit and my throttle dropped too, next thing i know its green and i'm not moving. Lost 2 places to ff and espn, but in the end it was a good race because i had espn for about 20laps or so constantly infront of me, and I couldn't figure a way to overtake him. So it was quite a nice fight going on for more than 1/2the race all the time, really good!

2nd race - a bit boring, but ok. Had a good start, gained some positions in 1st laps, then some people run wide etc didn't really have problems untill 2nd place. Then I caught up to mischief, and I knew it will be a big problem to overtake him. FF did already his pit by that time, but it was still early in the race, and I wanted to have some fight on the track so I didn't pit and kept going. Sadly, it didn't take more than 2 laps for me to overtake mischief, last corner I came out really good and overtook him on the straight with no drama. From then on it was an easy job, pit went smooth, 1-2 hot situations with overlapping, but nevertheless smooth race.

ESPN I got fast only in the qualifying. images/smilies/smile.gif

When I started racing tonight, I was just marginally better then yesterday, firs I went down from 53.68 to .55, then to a a high .40 or so, and only in the qualify came the brake through with the .20 something. I only did that because of firefox's time, when he did that .36 or so, I knew I need to do better than that. images/smilies/smile.gif

The key to my better time was braking and throttle control while braking. I was feathering the throttle really fast all the time while I was braking to keep the momentum going. I tried yesterday to have throttle on all the time, never get it below 15-20% even when braking, but that didn't work out for some reason. So today I tried just jumping on it all the time while braking, and somehow that made the difference, I could keep my momentum and revs up while braking and corner speed improved quite a lot. I also improved my line a bit in the last corner, normally I was exiting with 105-106km/h, but somehow I managed to pull another 2-3km's out of it, and was exiting with 108 after I changed my line.
