License poll (please vote if you wish to race with us!)

Hello racers!

The purpose of this thread is to find out what kind of licenses people have. This will help us determine what kind of races we can have.

S2 would of course be the optimal level so that the license wouldn't limit our car/track choices. But S1 would be fine too so that we could have TBO class races and seeing how FBM races was a bit of a disaster last time it's probably better not to go to the fastest cars of LFS just yet.

Seeing as the race day a week ago was a success, I am thinking we could have another date(s) in the near future. Personally next week is not probably suitable for me, so the preliminary plan is to have race on the 9th of May.

Currently demo racer, but seriously considering buying S2. I'm genuinely annoyed by all crashers in the demo servers.

How much does another game cost?
I bought LFS for i think 35 euro's. Getting free updates, improvements over the last 4/5 years. Instead of buying every other year a new race game..:S

LFS is great value for the money. It's also cheaper than most other games.

yet you can afford a top of the range computer/multiple flatscreens that are far too large/a collection of 18 cars, all of which are cooler than anything I've owned combined/a whole bunch of technology I won't be able to own ever

S2 for me, has been for the last 2 years (or more).

It's worth every penny, and it's satisfying that you don't need to renew it every year.

Don't worry. As the poll already shows there are some users with only demo, so there is going to be atleast some demo races.

I have S2. Unfortuanatly, i haven't been on it as much as rFactor and so on. More so now that it has a serious conflict with my Antivirus which automatically restarts my PC when loading the server list. I usually have to turn it off to get it working.

Which AV are you using? Maybe it has some block function for program who are connecting to internet.
I've never experience any problems LFS vs AV or firewalls.

I use AVG. Its weird, i have no idea why it does it. Maybe i should ask on the LFS Forum?

Seems that LFS and AVG are not a happy together.
Maybe change AV? I'm using NOD32 and no problems.

^I have used AVG Free edition for years alongside LFS with no problems at all...
