Qualification: 15 minutes
Practice: 18:00 GMT
Race: 19:00 GMT
Sprint: 5 laps
Feature: 35 laps

With the season soon coming to an end, things are heating up in the overall standings. Geeman leading the championship with 80points, followed closely by ESPN, 76points, and myself with 72. Everything is still open, let's hope for a nice photofinish during the last race, that will decide everything.

Not a good race today, I spun 3 times and went through chicane tires once! Lost 10+ seconds each spin, cooked my tires, and got some damage which when pitting again cost me another 10s. Could have been a nice race on the front but well...

I delayed my pit stop to help ESPN for a better position against DSR guys. I was about to pit when Ehnico (?) came out of his stop, so I did a few extra laps hoping to pressure him into some mistake, which eventually he did, run wide last corner into sand. Since ESPN was only 1-2seconds behind or so, he overtook him with no problem, then I made my pitstop. Sadly ESPN lost is as well, and DSR took back 2nd place.

Nice track this, I quite liked it towards the end. Sadly, my setup wasn't allowing me to go fast, only towards the end when tank emptied up I could do some low 1:51s but couldn't go faster than that. Tires did ok though, especially considering 3 spins.

Sprint didn't go too well, I was being slow and AlPayson also took me out when he drove on the grass and returned to the track in front of me. I didn't take too much damage there so I was able to finish the race, but I lost a quite a bit of time.
Feature was a another race gone bad in a row. Started OKish, but on the end of the first lap someone hit my back sending me to the wall, I took big damage and was forced to pit right away. Pitting took a while because of all the damage and I switched to R2s too. Had very little grip with those and I hit the wall again.. I continued racing to lap 17. I had a quite a bit damage at that point already and R2's were useless, so I pitted and returned to my original strategy (R1). After that I was doing OK laps, but I was already too far behind to catch anyone.

It was a mixed day for me.
Sprint was lousy since I got disconnected (again). images/smilies/sad.gif

Feature was great for me.
I had a great battle with Ehnico from lap 11 to about lap 16 or so. It was a lot of fun. images/smilies/thumbsup.gif

After my pit, I came out right behind Pdanev, and I assumed that he had already pitted (which wasn't the case).
When Ehnico pitted, he ended up right in front of Pdanev.
Pdanev put some pressure on him and Ehnico ran wide in the last turn and both Pdanev and I were able to pass him.
Unfortunately, I lost it a lap or so later when I nicked the grass on the exit of the right hander (with the pilons on them) that is just before the left hander that leads to the back straight.
The R1s were fine the whole race, and they really got fast around lap 30 or so.

FYI, just checked my mail, 4am in the morning lol, and saw the FireFox left me a msg about 9 hours ago that he can't race.

He said that he was feeling sick the last days, fever, the whole package.

sorry i wasn't there for this race. first, it's spring break, so on vacation. but to complicate the vacation, i had my four wisdom teeth taken out on friday. fun. anyway, i'll do the points update when i get home on wednesday, so could someone do the stats for the sprint race if they have the mpr?

I quite liked the combo. Very good track for FOX I think, unlike the upcoming SO images/smilies/dry.gif

Also our DSR fellows provided at least some kind of excitement for me, otherwise it would be just another hour-long practice images/smilies/smile.gif

well nothing new here, just another predictable failure. i really didn't like that race. would have helped if i had a good setup, but i'm still not very good at placing the car on the track without going onto the grass or controlling the car around tight corners. nice to have DSR with us, but them being there and having more cars just made my race worse.

not looking forward to SO either to be honest.
