In the game. Turn the wheel far to the left and then far to the right. Do the same with the pedals.

Well, you might want to dramatically reduce the sensitivity in the Wingman Profiler.
I've got my wheel set to something like 10% for LFS.

okay i've got my wheel setup and weighted perfectly (for me)
and now i'm working on my car setup, where are the links for
pre made car setups again?

for now i have the rwd car (in the demo) and i raised the final
drive so it is quicker and i dialed in a little understeer using
37psi in teh back and 35 up front - this kills the tail happy
nature of the car on sudden lift off throttle....

Yah, you've said that before, but you haven't explained why.
I can't understand it, you can configure everything you want.
It does everything you want.
And it works like a charm, I've never had any problems with it (and I've been using it for probably 4, 5 years or so now).

Explain please. images/smilies/wacko.gif images/smilies/bangin.gif

it sucks ergonomically, it's got that Microsoft-inspired mind, (it wants to take over your computer) and it doesn't work that great for what it's supposed to do. I prefered the simple and unobstructive software my thrustmaster had.

Sucks ergonomically? WTF does that mean? Even a child could use it.
It wants to take over your computer? What the hell? images/smilies/wacko.gif
Are we talking about the same software here?
BTW I used to own a thrustmaster wheel, and it was unobstructive because you couldn't configure a damn thing.

I hate it when software wants to run all the time. My computer starts with only 17 processes running.

I like the Wingman software myself. images/smilies/mellow.gif My only complaint is that if I don't boot the game via Wingman, it won't apply the settings.

Most programs have an option to not start on startup, and Profiler does have an option for that.
Is that what you mean by "taking over your computer" Ren?
