Default Oct 28 - FE Green REVERSE GTI/GT [6:40]

WR's as follows:

XF GTI: 1.27:11 WR Setup
XR GT: 1.26:92 Setup

Race will consist of a 15 Minute Qualifying session
6 Sprint Race Laps
40 Feature Race Laps

Please join before 1800GMT

Cars allowed by Racer:
Prophet: XR GT
Mischief: XR GT
ESPN: XR GTI
MXM: XR GT
Jayhawk: XR GT
Andy: XR GT
tmbrudy: XR GT
LNLDRVR: XR GT
Firefox: XR GT
Priitmek: XR GT
MorroW: XR GT
Firedup: XR GT

Unfortunetly, because Firefox has had 3 DNF because of Hardware failure, ESPN is still in the lead with 11 points which means he will be taking passengers for at least the next two races regardless of his position of this race, FE Green R and SO Town.

Edit FireFox. Correct number of laps.

Theoretically, you could gain 18 to 20 points per weekend on an opponent.

Isn't this supposed to be 6 laps for sprint and 40 for feature?

This should be a fun combo again. Lots of interesting passing places.

I didnt had too much trouble with getting fast through the chicane, unlike the the previous 'normal' race on this track.

I don't think I've ever drive on this track in reverse. Quite challenging I must say. After half an hour I'm still 3sec behind WR. Tons on improvements can be made, but it will require a lot of practice to drive here consistently.

Looking forward for the race images/smilies/smile.gif

I'm about 4 secs behind the WR and still far from actually finding the racing line for the track, esp the set of corners after the bridge and I just don't seem to have any consistency images/smilies/lol.gif

Yeah its break or make there, my fastest way is drifting a bit till the next corner. Fun, but challenging + I hope the tires will last when I really need to push images/smilies/smile.gif
It seems that Epsnsti can do a '1:28.36' in a Hotlap, so with passenger he will be slower images/smilies/twisted.gif I hope
Edit: whoooo hotlap in GT: 1:28:11

Right now, I seem to get mid to high 1:29's with passenger, but there seem to be about 50 different ways to die on that track.
Oddly enough, my biggest trouble spot as far as that goes isn't the chicane, but getting the twisty bit before the bridge wrong.
If I hit the side of that bridge a bit hard, I go flying and kills my suspension if not worse. images/smilies/sad.gif

I have no idea what WR is...and don't really care at all. Practice...is sadly just 20 laps with AI so far images/smilies/sad.gif

I find it quite easy. Just go a bit offroading there, nearly touching the tires on the left. Then it's almost straight line.

What I find hard, is the stupid wall on the right shortly after 1st split. Also it seems I'm loosing time in last sector, but I can't really figure why.. Got into 28's now, but FireFox is still faster images/smilies/dry.gif

Yes, that's how Firefox did it. You and everyone else can submit a new item to the calendar, but I have it set to be moderated (an admin or mod has to approve it first). images/smilies/smile.gif

Still trying to figure out how to make you a moderator in just here. I think I may know, but you'll have to give me a bit. images/smilies/wink.gif
