Not a satisfying weekend for me.
On the upside, I seem to have figured out the disconnect problems on Vista.

Much better than I expected. I'm not a fan of open wheelers in general, but this turned out fine.

1st race was ok, few fights here and there, once I got in the lead I stayed as long out as possible because whenever I had people infront of me I had fps issues. Late pit, but smurfen overtook me in the end.

2nd race was awesome, first 6-7 laps lot of fights, everyone was running similar pace so I always had 2-3 people around me. Then I made a mistake and did a 720 exiting the chicane, which luckily apart from frying my tires didn't result in any damage. Dropped last, then started catching up. Brilliant fight in the last few laps with Loz, and a photofinish difference of .03s. Finish 3rd, but what a race! images/smilies/smile.gif

Really bad about so many dropouts, smurfen in 2nd race, bad weekend for mischief, jayhawk also didn't make the races, MXM left after the 1st race... images/smilies/sad.gif

Maybe the next combo will be more appealing to the crowd.

At least burnsy will be slow next time, I didn't quite like the idea today of him winning both races + making fastest lap (21p)! images/smilies/tongue.gif

Even when he had 25 kg and I had 15 kg on the last track in the GTC, he was just a little bit faster than me. But then again that was using the FXR which I am most likely not using. Well I probably won't be using any of those cars.

I'll probably race with XRR most of the time, that's my favourite car from the lot. Engine at front, drive at the back, everything in it's place. images/smilies/wink.gif

That was probally the best racing ive ever done in any league.

My race 1 was average, started 4th, had a battle with Smurfen and pdanev, then my brother came in the room and put me off, pit on lap 13/14, had to fend off Mischief for a while till i made a substantial gap then set about catching 3rd.

Race 2 was better, started 4th. Made a kamikazi move on Mischief on lap 2 i belive, and it worked. Saw Espn|STi spin, i tapped him after his spin. Settled in 3rd then till Smurfen flipped. Then there was a massive battle with pdanev for 3rd. And like he says, .03 between us.
