Well, this was a nice track for GTR's. Too bad I didn't like setups for XRR and FZR at all, so I used FXR with flotch's WR setup (+R3).

In first race I damaged the rear which cooked up tires really badly, I had to pit for the second time, and I barely made it to pits images/smilies/smile.gif

In second race I hit the tires in chicane, lost many seconds to geeman, but since he was 1-2 seconds per lap slower, I catched him in second to last lap. Last lap was fun for me, I lost it in turn 1, letting geeman pass, and eventually overtook him just before the chicane.

If only more people turned up to race images/smilies/sad.gif

The setups in inferno for the XRR were horrible. I tried to quickly make something half-decent up for it before the races, but failed badly.

Not a very exciting race, but then again no wonder with only 4 people...

Only 1 interesting part, 2nd race following espn very close and the lack of air->downforce meant that I understeered out from the corner like a pig straight into the sand. Lost 6-7seconds, started pushing, luckily caught up soon because of a collision(?) between EPSN and MXM.

I was doing a lot better in practice than I was in the race, which doesn't make me happy.
Oh well...

I just saw you loosing it a bit and ESPN kicking some dust up. I was several seconds behind in previous sector and all of a sudden I catch up seeing that picture so I assumed there was a collision of some sort. images/smilies/smile.gif

Well, if you ask me, FZR was waay too ambitious choice. There are no good setups for it and it's a lot harder to make consistent laps with it than FXR, even if it's 1s/lap faster at best. In your case 1s means nothing, because lack of consistency means you'd get better result with FXR overall. Same for me actually, so I didn't take it.

My Nan timed dinner to perfection, right when the race was starting.
