Season 5 - Schedule, Rules & General Info

Season 5 will start in 2 (TWO!) weeks from now!!!
You can relax now for two weeks, after the long and painful FOX Season. The general rules and new format of racing, as well as a new schedule and point system can be found below. There might be some time confusion, because soon we're changing to Daylight Saving Time (summer time) in Europe, US already did... so erm, yeah, 18:00GMT is official start. Just turn up a bit earlier then usual for the 1st race to see exactly when we start.

Schedule

Race Format

15 min Qualify
2 Races each 30 minutes
1st Race - no compulsory pit stop
2nd Race - reverse finishing order start, compulsory pit

Point System
A1 GP

1st - 10
2nd - 9
3rd - 8

etc going down by 1 point

1 extra point will be awarded in each race for the fastest lap time.

Remember that now the point system is slightly different, as well as race format. 2 Races 1/2h each, 1st race no pit stop, 2nd one reverse finishing order and compulsory pitstop. That's about it. I'll post the skins for next season soon, as soon as I'm done with all the cars.

edit:One thing I forgot to stress, is that we're not (always) using entire car classes. So when it says RB4, GTT - it's not the entire TBO class but just those two cars. Just wanted to highlight this to avoid unnecessary confusion.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the DSR invite, a lot of the guys on DSR are into XFR, and UFR. I, however cannot stand those flip mobiles. Touch the curb the wrong way and over you go. It's total BS I tell ya! Anyway, the only race I see myself wanting to run this season is the F08 race on the 21st and perhaps the LX4 race too. Looking forward to running with you guys again.

anyway, Its better to make a topic here, so we can discuss the team vs team race openly. And make a agreement on date/car/track.

UFR/XFR skin psd's for new season, ~~temporarily on rapidshare, since along with the forum move our site is gone as well.~~

Preview in 1st post. MXM will probably kill me because the UFR skin could be a bit better if the lower part is shifted up by about 10px, but I will fix that another time. images/smilies/smile.gif

Edit: All the skins from now one will be in this folder!

Are we doing the same thing as before that when you take the UFR this time around, you have to take the XFR next time?

UF1 Skin is ready!

The UFR one didn't quite match the uf1, a few mismatches and the numbers had to be lowered, so don't just rename your ufr skin, rather get the uf1.
