With the exception of 2-3times when I went online onto some drift servers during the summer, me neither. And by the looks of it I'm not gonna be here for the first race, going to Frankfurt IAA on Saturday, original plan was to go Friday but it is not a public day then.. sigh. images/smilies/sad.gif

And speaking of not touching LFS, the devs really need to come up with something asap, LFS desperately needs some major upgrade...

Well it's just that it hasn't received any major update for 2.5 years now, and for the users like us that play LFS since S1 days, 2 and 1/2 years driving the same cars with the same physics around the same tracks is getting a bit boring. There are also a lot of things in LFS which are not up to date and inefficient from what I hear such as graphics etc.

But well, that's not my biggest problem. I would personally prefer new tracks, and not just the standard stuff, but something more exotic, something with steep hills and tight bends like a hillclimb, something very long like the ring etc. New cars I don't really need, there are plenty, but we've driven all tracks to death now.

Oh well, 2.5 years is a long time without big updates, so whichever way we look at it there better come something new. I've considered (and still am sometimes) dropping LFS altogether, but decided to see how this season works out. If there is still no new updated before x-mas or so, then I'm out for sure. I know LFS is one of the best sims out there, that's why most of us have been loyal for such a long long time, but nevertheless things do get boring.

After reading some post on the lfsforum i don't think we will get any new cars or tracks. It seems that scawen is busy with the AI players and some track-updates of South City and Westhill. Also the GTR cars will have an updated car interior. Packed together in Patch Y.

OK, that explains it. I do agree with some of your complaints. I would *really* like to see some name-branded cars and real-life tracks, but then we're into the realm of corporate thought crime images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

It doesn't necessarily have to be real life track or real brand car, just something entirely new. The latest upgrades with more players, ballast system etc were long due anyway. Ah well, its not a topic for this thread anyway. images/smilies/smile.gif
