Schedule:

[FG] Racing
password: fg

Race Format

Qualifying starts ~~18:00 GMT~~ 17:00GMT
15 min Qualifying
2 Feature Races
1st Race - Compulsory pitstop
2nd Race - Reverse finishing order start, no compulsory pitstop

Point System
Formula 1

1st - 10
2nd - 8
3rd - 6
4th-8th - n=m-1

1 bonus point awarded for the fastest lap from both races

Race Handicaps
Handicaps are assigned to drivers based on championship points.

1st - 40kg
2nd - 30kg
3rd - 20kg
4th - 10kg
5kg extra handicap to the previous championships winner for the entire current championship.

Didn't we agree on not using wind? Or at least high wind? I wrote a whole rant about it images/smilies/tongue.gif

Also, what about that new formula bmw, maybe we should squeeze one race with it somewhere?

and 70KG for the leader? urgh. I thought we discussed a more top 4 spread. Like 40,30,20,10. Or 50,40,30,20.

i'm not the one that made the schedule, pete did. but those weight penalties are better. i think 40,30,20,10 would be better.

about where in the schedule would you guys like a Formula BMW race?

i was thinking of:
Car: Formula BMW (FBM)
Track: South City Chicane Route (SO6)
Laps: 2x25
Wind: Low

nobody has a preference of where the FBM race should go? either make it the last race, or stick it in the middle somewhere.

Make it the first race.
I have been lately racing a lot in the FBM and I think it could give me a slight advantage images/smilies/wink.gif

It's fine with me if we make it the 1st, I'd also suggest the new SO track so we have a brand new combo.

Had this combo as last year race with some dutch guys. Laps of 1:07.XX average. Hope that my laptop can hold it... got some low fps when racing on SO images/smilies/sad.gif

Not always but a few minutes and then its back to the normal 40'ish

I will try to attend a few this season, I firmly decided to not join a team persay, but I would like to participate. I guess I am too much of a lone wolf (puppy, really) to adhere to a team.

Jay, it's not like our "team" has strict rules or regulations. Same goes for our races, so of course the more participants we have the better. images/smilies/wink.gif
