Default Team FG and the 24 hours of Kyoto?

Has anyone given any thoughts on the possible upcoming event? I participated last year with Land Of The Free, and it was pretty fun.

I was thinking of doing it again, except this time in a TBO car. I know all the glory goes to the GTR's, but I can tell you first hand it was also pretty stressful. And that track is brutal to drive on 2-3 hours at a time.

Just throwing out some thoughts, or maybe a spark to ignite an idea. images/smilies/smile.gif

I know some of us are kinda leaning towards that. We participated in the 3 hour MoE LFS GT race in Westhill with a GT2 and GT1 team. We have more than enough people to race with plus only two of us were North Americans, if I remember correctly.

So is anyone up for the LFS GT round of this event? If so we may have to reschedule our season opening race, which coincidentally is also on the 19th of January.

For me personally 24hours at this moment would be too much, I don't have enough time to sacrifice for such a long event. I'd love to try it once, but not right now. LFS GT is fine with its 3h races.

The LFS GT series is all 3 hr races. MoE is the one that has 3, 6, and 12 hr races. I don't believe that I'm also ready for a 24 hr race yet. That's a lot of time to commit to.

The next LFS GT race is at Aston Grand Prix on the 27th of January.

EDIT: damn, you edited too fast

Yeah for some reason I remembered LFS GT having 3 and 6 hour races, but when I checked after my post I realized that it's 6 races each of 3 hours, that's where my confusion came from. images/smilies/smile.gif

Of course I'm up to continue our mini-endurance racing and hopefully we will be able to split up the tasks equally Kevin images/smilies/wink.gif.
