LFS Status:  Rep Power: 24   |  TPS vs Team FG AS Cadet Video After spending 1/2 a day on figuring out the best way to record, balance quality, fps, and file size, I started recording yesterday afternoon. Towards the evening I started editing. The latter 2 steps didn't take much time. However what took me almost an entire day to do, is figure out a way of compression. Exporting directly with xvid from premier didnt work, so I started playing around with premier/ffdshow options, from within that chosing xvid. All the results were total rubbish, lot of video errors and pixels jumping all over the place. No good. So I finally clened up every usueless byte from my hdd, to make room for exporting a raw avi, and then using vdub compressing with xvid. Finally I got it right.  The video itself is not a hot shot, my 1st video after all. Some bits and pieces dont entirely match the music, but well, will do better on the As Historic video. It was a bit difficult to synchronize the race action with the music, because I wanted to keep the original time line. Anyway, I think the result is ok, could be much better, but not that bad either, I hope. PS: A few time on the transtion from 1 picture to the other, the 2nd picture stalls a bit and is not moving immediately, no clue why that is.  edit: video is 50mb http://www.xenonzone.net/teamfg/TPS%...AS%20Cadet.rar |
