Weight Penalties

Placeholder for weight penalties - who will start with how many kg extra - as long as someone does the points. images/smilies/smile.gif

Btw, what happens when 2 people get equal points, like last race FF and me, e.g.? Do we make it each with an average, (60+30)/2 = 45kg? Or both with 60, then someone with 30 and someone with 15, so 4 people carry extra weight instead of 3?

Also, do we look at total points earned which includes the +1 for fastest combined laptime, or do we just look at who finished 1st 2nd 3rd?

Like this imo:

1st gets 45kg
1st gets 45kg

3rd gets 15kg
4th no penalty

Fastest laptime shouldn't be punished with weight penalty, so it should be left out of counting.

I'm fine with that 45, 45, 15 rule.
I assume the averaging will also apply when 2nd or 3rd spot is shared.

^yep, if two people finish on 2nd place then its (30+15)/2= ~23kg.

As for qualify, I say without extra weight.

When we did the season where we used passengers, we picked the leader of the championship as the idea is to keep that closer.
If you're picking the top three of the last race, you run the risk of punishing someone that's lower in the standings since they happened to get a good finish.

I thought the weight penalty was with the standings in the championship which was what we did during one season and ESPN basically had a passenger the whole time.

Gonna be hard with 60KG. Place the weight to the front. More grip with the XFR/UFR. I placed mine weight at 70% to the front with the FXO.
