You know what though? In the US, the Lexus SC430 has the highest rating of ANY car for people who would re-buy it again if they had the change, knowing what they know now. (Consumer Reports)
It's also known for having a legendary quiet rinterior, especially for convertibles |

The Merc CLK AMG DTM GTR thing (wow that was a mouthfull
) was quite a handful. Remember that famous footage of it lifting up in the air in the LeMans race I think. Mark Webber was the driver...I like the look of that Saab 9-3...didn't know it was a dog though. |

EVO is an awesome magazine. Only on there can you see something as exotic as the CLK-GTR counted as one of the worst cars

-the one in the picture above is a CLK GTR
-the one that flipped was the CLR -the CLK DTM AMG has almost nothing to do with either one of them what the hell didn´t they like about the CLK GTR? That and the CLK DTM AMG are the ONLY (imho) sportscars Mercedes has built in the last 20 years or so...

Top Gear trashed on the SC430 as one of the worst cars ever, not so much for quality, but being so lacking in identity and purpose, a car built, not sure who its built for. Ed |

ah yeah... missed that
ok so it´s a difficult car that´s going to be completely useless as daily driver, but then again it had a pricetag somewhere between 1 and 2 million, so it doesn´t need to be... I still wouln´t even think about buying it if I had the money, but I don´t think it really belongs in a category that includes a smart, a corolla, and a copen... edit: Quote:

Remember, they rate cars at how good they are in relevance to other cars in the same class, and if it's a bad car at what it's supposed to be, then it's a bad car anyway. This is just a collection of the worst cars they have ever driven, regardless of category...

Webber had two cars flip while he was at the wheel, so three in total went up and over.

A little explanation would have been nice. From a non owners perspective the list doesn't make sense. Okay, the Toyota Corolla T-Sport and the Smart Crossblade kind of make sense by looking at them alone, but the rest just seems odd to me.

Actualy, if you reread my post, I didn't say that Consumer Reports rated it...it was the public's rating of it...they surveyed people who bought the vehicle, and out of ANY vehicle, it scored the highest percentage of people who would buy it again.
Don't get me wrong, I'll go to Consumer Reports to find a good vacuum, but I'll never go to them to review a car... |

but anyway, the reviews I read in german magazines at the time when it came out were actually quite good...it´s too bad they didn´t test the Veyron on the track, otherwise they´d have been able to put that one in their list... yeah, it´s very easy to overlook, maybe you should put it at the top of the post...

I'm a little hesitant at the appearance of the Copen in that list. Sure, it might be gutless as all hell, but for god's sake, it's limited to that power by Japanese regulations. But I still like it for being as ridiculous as it is. I saw one when I was in Japan, it fits in beautifully there, and I reckon even though I'd look such a prat driving it... I'd still have one. Just for the comedy value, and the fact when the p-plated rev heads start laughing about it, I lift the bonnet and point at the turbocharger "I'll bet you don't have one of those." The Copen is exempt from the power restrictions(no turbo, no super chargers, no 8 or more cylinders) emplaced apon me, so that'd be fun

I like to call it the "barely copen"
