How about the "Pii"? It's catchy, it's short, I see no problems with the name being exploited for lame jokes at all.

Wireless keyboard would be difficult though, since you wouldn't be able to see the keyboard and not everyone can touch type. Unless if you mount a camera in front of it, which would solve the bumping into things problem also.

Think about it, it's not such a bad idea! It's a perfect way of getting rid of outside distractions and getting stuck in with your TV viewing. Virtual reality glasses with a TV feed - It's a sort of home-version of IMAX! Make a DVD slot for it and all...
