I don't normally watch motorcycle racing, but I watched the race at Phillip Island, and wow it was good.

Are you sure it was superbike and not MotoGP? wsbk raced there in March...

I'm glad Haga didn't win. One of my old neighbors works for Öhlins and he is currently doing suspension work for the yamaha team in WSBK. And according to him Haga is a complete douchebag.

Too hard to tell. Bayliss had his own dominating seasons back in the day. Though this win by Spies kind of reminds me of Edwards' comeback n 02.

I was at Laguna that year, and have a signed painting above my bed of Edwards in the Stars and Stripes livery from that race, signed by him. It was my first ever motorsport race of any kind...and what a magical one to have gone to! Race 2 started the comeback. IMO one of the greatest comebacks in racing history. images/smilies/smile.gif
