Default Dakar Series - Central Europe Rally

Has anyone taped the first 2 stages of the rally ? or have a torrent or something ?

if you don't know what dakar series is http://www.centraleuroperally.com/

this is the route:
http://www.centraleuroperally.com/2008/CER/img/parcours.jpg

it's a sort of compensation for the cancelation of the Dakar rally back in January

I'm in the red dot on this map... but it's school time now. And nobody gives a damn about these things here: in the news, in sports, it's football, football, football, football, and only team owners that either haven't been in the real world for a long time or used to be shepherds.(example... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gigi_Becali )

Dakar Series in Hungary? I sense exaggeration here images/smilies/tongue.gif
I believe Joco mentioned somewhere that she was at the start of the rally.

vikirad- Football is the most popular sport in Europe (I love this game!), so don't be surprised. Here nothing in the news about motorsports too, except F1.

There are reruns in the mornings. Although they tend to be at 9:30 my time by which time I'm at work. Propably the same for you.

You can watch the daily reports from eurosport.com though, if you don't mind the delay.

Yeah I was there in Budapest on Saturday, it was great!
But it seems it's the same in Hungary like in Poland and Romania - F1 gets quite a big media coverage (but even it could be much better considering we also have a race...) but other motorsports rarely appear in the news.
And that's why people like Carlos Sainz or Stephane Peterhansel could walk on the streets of Budapest with only a couple of the "fans" recognising them...

I will, but the camera is currently with my brother in Budapest so I have to wait until he gets home to upload them... tomorrow evening probably!

Just finished watching to torrents. It was pretty enjoyable, and congratulations

Carlos Sainz for winning the race
.

Although the central europe rally was enjoyable, it still not as special as the Dakar desert rallies. I hope there wont be any conflicts next year, and we can have the true Dakar back.

There will be no true Dakar next year, sadly. The "Dakar" will be held in South America (Argentina and Chile), which will be interesting surely, but still... it won't be the same to say the least images/smilies/sad.gif

hey sorry for this being my first post, ive been coming here to get top gear since im a huge fan but im also interested in the torrents of the dakar rally since here in venezuela its impossible to catch mostly because we get little or no coverage about motorsports besides the F1.
Me and my father follow the dakar rally since i was young but every year it gets a little harder to watch cause of the coverage we have waited two weeks now for an update in foxsports but it is always cancelled in favor of baseball soccer or any other sport instead of the rally.

if anyone could help us will be greatly appreciated.
