This is the first thread where the OP wasn't blasted about advice. On another forum this one guy keeps posting as to how to meet women and everybody shuts them down.

OP, get rid of that negative attitude. I should know it doesn't help because I've gone through that phase. Second of all, I'm 26, no GF ever and I missed out on 3 due to my very own shit luck. One even told me she liked me but had a boyfriend at the time. Me being me, I didn't do anything about it and she eventually fell into the wrong crowd. When I talked to her a couple of months ago, she said she met nothing but assholes and was hurt by them. Once again though, I was late. Shit happens, move on. I've been denied left, right, center, up, down, etc. Yeah it sucks but there's not much that you can do.

it's something you can change, and should change.

Easier said than done SuperStalin. I have heard that from everybody but it isn't true. Yeah you control your own fate but women are people and people are generally not the brightest things in the world. Everybody does everything these days to advance themselves.

You know what, I kinda agree, if I decided not to take a risk when I first met my current girlfriend, then I'll probably still be alone in the dark. I had a friend who after one or two date relationships totally shut down, refused to do anything, go out etc. So he decided to take some night classes to distract himself, and strangely met his currently girlfriend there

Women tend to be more emotional, I'm not saying that they're not bright, they are. But when making decisions, they do it with their heart and not brain. Men tend to be more logical, like for example we think to ourselves "why doesn't she like me since I'm caring, or buy her stuff and such" it's much more complex than that.

Anyway since it's a Friday night, I suggest getting off your couch, call some buddies and head down to the nearest drinking hole, you may not be searching for anything now, but like what SuperStalin said, have some fun in the process and maybe you'll find what you're looking for.
