A Trip to Italy this october ... for me :P
The countries wich i'll go through are Hungary,Austria and Italy and maybe a small part in southern France. If anyone can tell me ... where is the best scenary, best automotive museum(also about ferrari, lambo and pagani museums)best sights . Can anyone tell me about the ferrari lambo and all museums that come to your mind, can you sit in cars ? when do they open? and the entry fee ?
And also very important if there are some amazing sites with breathtakeing musems, i'm searching on the internet for a while but i need peoples opinion. Though i wloud like if locals cloud tell me wich roads i shloud avoid or museums, towns, hotels ... You get what i mean. Or best deals. Sorry if i'm a bit boring but i really want this trip to be very good ... I shloud stop here ... anyway thanks

Car museums:
Galleria Ferrari is in Modena (you cant sit in the cars, I think it was 12 euro don't remember). For the hous check the site, it changes depending on the season. Lamborghini is in Sant Agata For the supercar museums there is this great company that organizes tours, several forum members have taken them. The also have tours to the Ducati factory. http://www.motorstars.org/ There is also a car museum in Torino http://www.museoauto.it/mambo/ It depends how far south you want to go, but Tuscany is incredibly beautiful. Also Verona, Venezia, Como and the Garda Lake (Sirmione is one of the most beautiful places on earth!). Then we have Liguria with Cinque Terre and the coast from Genova to Monaco, also beautiful. What types of museums do you like? Here in Milan there are many art museums, the last supper etc. I'll see if I can remember more things...

Edit: Damn it.
If you are heading from austria to Italy, you should make your way to slovenia and check out the road from Kranjska gora across Vršič pass to trenta valley and than Italy. Both the scenery and the road are beautiful. |

Take a detour through krsko, i'll buy you a beer.
And don't go south of rome on the b-roads. Unless you like driving past 2 meter high piles of garbage. |

Great pizza can be had all over italy, but avoid the most touristy spots, you will pay twice as much for an equal or lesser pizza. Look for small restaurants or pizzerias a bit outside the center.

Ok so to start with, for me the most stunning visit of the 3 was pagani, by miles, they we're so happy to have us as visitor, there was a zonda f and mr. Pagani zonda s in the showroom they've opened the doors ( touched the steering wheel of a zonda f
) they opened the hood where the engine is the front hood explained everything, had much patience with me because i just standed there and stared at ther car ... what a beauty it's just so not like in the pictures so much gourgeus, and finally took us to a tour of the factory (they haven't shown us just the body shop) preety short but worth every little second, the guide was very kind explained everything, but i recommend to make an appointment on the net http://www.paganiautomobili.it/ it's very simple just go at "contact us" and establish an hour, oh and it's free. But the most stunning thing about pagani is that they're not cold la ferrari or lamborghini when reciveing visitors you feel like they whant you to be there. Oh and it's quite difficult to find the Pagani factory.Ok so enoguh with pagani ... i can go on for hours though ... ok now ... galleria ferrari, it isn't as big as i expected, but isn't small either, lot's of f1 cars, haven't seen the f430/scudeia (but seen on the streets near the factory) also the enzo was there the gtb the f50, oh don't miss when you go into the room with the gtb find the gtb find the entrance to the sports prototype rooms, ok now, there's a formula one with a monitor sticked to it, actually they didn't say it's a sim it's actually more arcade than nfs carbon, anyway it's worth to give 5 euros to sit in a REAL f1 car(they say that it actually is an f1 car), and tours are organized included in the ticket 12 euros/adult 8 euros/person (family)Now Lamborghini was the absolutley coldest welcome, a guy sitting at the entrance just said welcome to the lamborghini museum or something like that you can take as many pictures bla bla bla but it seemed that he was saying it like a robot and told us to tell him when we are ready to go to the shops, no explenation of the cars nothing, ok so we weren't gonna take the guide if it was possible, but still it wloud've been nice to know that they like visitors and stuff, seen racing lambos prototypes and current models superleggera and murcielago versace. For me the longest of the 3 was galleria ferrari, it took some time, especially because they were racing at the fiorano circuit we found 3 spots to see the track, i climbed on a fence to make the vids, then we had the pagani appointment at 3 so we rushed to pagani, and after we left found out that we still have time to visit lambo, when we left a zonda s passed us at full throttle, my God that's a gooooood sound. Ok so hopefully this info will help some of you, took a bit of time to write all of this ![]() My internet connection is running really crappy at this time so i had to make really smaller versions of the pics(sorry 'bout that will work on it) and seems i can only upload 3 files . ok ...so if your not bored to death yet here are the picsand i tried to upload a video and i get this error 1 Copy of 1.MPG: you chose an invalid extension. it is not possible to upload executable files like php, perl, asp, ... |
