So i'm watching CNN, and I caught the end of this story. Apparently last december, a plastic baby Jesus was stolen from some family. A note was left that said the statue was needed elsewhere and would be returned shortly....
8 months later, the baby Jesus was returned to the doortstep of the family's home. Next to it was a photo album called "baby Jesus chronicles"...inside were pictures of the statue in various locations. On a bike, on a horse, in a car wearing a seatbelt, in a kitchen making brownies...camping etc. And there was another note... "Please read this letter in its entirety before passing judgment on the actions and events that have taken place," the letter said. "We are simply a group of young adults who wished to show the baby Jesus a better life than he would have seen cooped up in an attic crawl space. He has traveled over counties and states, met people and animals alike. We have done our best to show the baby Jesus the many glorious aspects of our world" http://www.upi.com/NewsTrack/view.ph...0-010217-1341r There are a few news articles, but I can't find any of the pictures that were on the tv news.

This is a spoof of the "Travelling Gnome" in the Amelie movie.
