lol
about a year ago beckahms £70,000 BMW X5 with bullet proof glass and armour plating was nicked from a restaurant in spain where he was having lunch a year later and the daily star have found the car, being driven by macedonian MP's lol apparently it was nicked, organised crime style, registration and all its vital numbers changed. it was then shipped to greece. it was siezed by a police raid on a people smuggling gang near the albanian border and as nobody at the time came to claim the car, the macedonian government decided to employ it as an offical car, rather than auction it off. its armour plating and bullet proof glass were desirable attributes that lead to that decision. they said if beckham wants it back, they'll be happy to hand him the keys. but really £70,000 isnt even a weeks wages for beckham. so i doubt he cares too much. pretty funny though, macedonia are in englands group for the euro2008 qualifiers. |

That's so funny... but why Macedonia? Was it not in Greek possession when it was claimed?

And that is why I'm proud to be Macedonian.
Because our government officials get to roll around in 2nd hand BMWs. Also, this story has been going around for a while now - our government has had Beckham's X5 for a while now, it's been common knowledge around here for over a year. ![]() Still hilarious though. EDIT: Whoa, bumpage! |

Do you even know where charity goes to? Face it, charity is just a way for the very rich to gain tax reliefs and dispose of extra money. Money just laying around actually costs you quite a penny.

Right - this car will in all probability belong to Beckham's Insurance company - if he bothered to make a claim for its loss. In that case it should be repatriated to them, they will then dispose of it to defray the cost of the settlement of the claim. One thing, it does not belong to the present person in possession. That is a matter between himself and his insurance company, but I think he will be unlucky and out of pocket.
