A lightweight electric plane made to look like a boat.
Yup, very cool. ![]() But it needs a pilot more than a driver to land safely ( without breaking it ) as the frame is very light but also very easily broken. Notice how it corners no where near as fast as "normal" R/C hydro racers ?

I wonder how much those cost...
I would have so much fun chasing Canada geese with one.

That's crazy, I've never seen anything like this with this toy, you can have fun everywhere. Does anybody know if it's a "petrol" or a battery engine ? |

I would place my money on a petrol engine as well. You see those incredibly fast R/C cars all the time, same applies here.

This thing is impressive indeed. It almost has to be a petrol engine indeed, as I don't think a small electromotor and batteries can produce so much power for more than a couple of minutes. And indeed batteries are too heavy.
Edit: it seems like the creator uses electric power for his other creations. There is a description of a small plane which uses a CD-rom drive motor... Not a bad idea in fact seen that this motors are quite powerfull and can reach very high rpm, and are cheap and easy to find. |

Well, ok. I meant "fuel", as in "not electrical"
My bad.
