See, Renesis, in the spirit of Jeremy Clarkson, I now have to ask about Top Gear's premier in every single one of my posts. images/smilies/wink.gif

It's a car show, not a sex show.....sure, seeing a girl with big tits is exciting images/smilies/wacko.gif , but I'd rather see more car than more girl. There are other times and places for seeing girls...

Exactly!

I'm quite happy with the way Top Gear is... adding "hot chicks" would start to make it like all the horrible car shows we have in North America.

If I wanna see boobies, I have porn and plenty of it. What I don't have in excess is great car shows - keep it up Top Gear! images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Top Gear for me. Fifth Gear is good from time to time, but Top Gear is so much more entertaining images/smilies/biggrin.gif

I think comparing Fifth Gear and Top Gear is like comparing Consumer Reports and Sport Compact Car.

Fifth Gear is just so dry. After watching it, you don't really feel like you've learned anything about cars. The presenters have no personality.

TG has gotten cursing, hypnotists, DDD breasts, insults and powerslides on a wet beach. TG speaks the language of car enthusiasts.

Fifht Gear is just so slow...
compared to Top Gear, it's just rubbish !

Top Gear moves, they invite people, they talk to the public, they have funny topics (like the Toyota, or the darts game that was just excellent!!), and the Stig...

Tiff drives very well, but he isn't very good as a showman.
And also, they have a girl to test cars, and I hate that, specially in France...

Yeah and Tiff's way of pronouncing the sentences gets annoying too, that climax on every sentence....

"it keeps getting better....and better.....[slowtalk] AND EVEN BETTER [/slowtalk]"

Jeremy does that too a little bit, but not all the time. And Hamster's face makes me laugh images/smilies/lol.gif

**edit: I saw Fifth Gear yesterday and I forgot how good Tiff can drive, drifting with fwd cars, he's just a puppeteer and every car is his puppet.
I had to be remembered of his skills. I think he and Jeremy still make a good couple when racing against eachother, serious vs. hilarious images/smilies/biggrin.gif

the part where vicki makes an appearance is one of the best parts in the episode... I just love it when she tests cars images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Fifth Gear if I want straight-up facts and more in-depth technical info. And perhaps some quality reporting from Vicki. images/smilies/lol.gif

But for adrenaline-pumping, shameless car-bashing, and wise-cracking entertainment with great background music, Top Gear trounces it. I like the one-hour talk show format, with studio audience input, and celebrity guests. And I think Jeremy is a complete ass, but in the most humorous way.

Top Gear is far better in several ways...

the hosts are funnier and more interesting to watch...
the programmes are better edited, imho, with a better flow...
they have more special, uniqe and interesting parts of the episodes... images/smilies/smile.gif

I do like the cool wall and other things like that... images/smilies/smile.gif
and I like the Stig and the laptimes...
and I like cool stuff like trying to kill a Toyota pickup or doing long jumps with old cars or "evaluating" cars bought for less than £100 or racing the train to the south of france, and so on.. images/smilies/smile.gif

Yeah TG has a entertaining which doesn't often include useful info on cars... images/smilies/wink.gif

Tiff seems to really Enjoy driving a car, Jeremy is often too busy making hilarious comments about the car, he DOES get mad when he drives something like the Enzo, CGT and so on, but the "regular" ferraris and porsches don't seem to interest him anymore...With Tiff you can see he enjoys every car he drives! Even the Van-test he did some time ago, a Ford Transit against a MB Sprinter

thats so pointless... what have you learn from that? Whenever you want a company to deliver your stuff quick... you look for one that uses Ford Transits images/smilies/lol.gif
