| I'm not Moe | That's awesome, not that you are probably suffering. But that a fracture can be helped along by a few small, precisely placed pieces of metal. How long do the doctors say the recovery process will take? |

| Dispenses buckshot medication for all undead patients. | the bone should heal rather quickly, getting back my range of motion and fine muscle control will take longer. They doubt I will get all my functioning back.

I've had ACL surgery on my right knee, (chopped a third of my patellar tendon and some bone off, cut out my torn ACL and drilled holes in my femur and tibula to attach the bit of patellar tendon to, cut out some of my damaged meniscus while they were at it, too) ... anyway, after a couple months of physical therapy I was back to about 90-95%. I've got this constant dull ache in the knee now, but other than that I'm fine. Can you feel those screws? My knee felt so funky for months ... |

| Been about five years since my accident and I still don't have full extention of my left arm. I probably have around the 170 degrees mark, assuming fully extended is 180 degrees, and after such a long period of time it's unlikely to improve any further. It can be painful in the mornings getting it flexing especially if I've been sleeping on it all night! I have the three screws as well, and they'll probably stay there, no real need to remove them. Pretty hefty looking suckers too! | |
