Hehe, i only think of him when i really think about the name. If someone shouted Hannibal to me, the first thing that would really spring to my mind is Hannibal Lector.

Mr. Lector always comes to mind first, as the very thought of him scared me as a child.

Never saw any movies with Mr. Lecter, so first thing to spring to mind for me is Hannibal, the warlord of Carthage who brought the Roman Empire to its knees before the Romans rose and managed to defeat him on his home ground.

Mind you, my vote might be influenced by the fact that in Estonia we get reruns on either the A-Team, Knight Rider or MacGyver so often, that we are never too far from the magical eighties.

Tricky question. Whenever I hear the name Hannibal, my first thought is "which one?".
The A-Team leader was the first Hannibal I heard of, I loved watching A-Team with my brother when I was about 8 years old.
Then "came" the Carthaginian, and later I discovered Hannibal Lector as well.

Anyway, if I had to chose one, it would be that Carthiginian guy with the elephants images/smilies/wink.gif
