Holiday in Slovenia - where to go?

I'm going to have holiday with my family in Slovenia in August.
Our accomodation will be somewhere around Bled, or Lake Bohinj, so that region.
We're not sure yet what places to visit, can anyone give some advice? We're going by car so if a place is a bit far away from Bled it's ok too...

You should visit our tractor factories. ;P

Visit lake Bled, visit Kobarid and the war museum there, go see the Soča river. Go hike. I liked Krn and it's lakes a lot.
I'll think of a few more tommorow. I wouldn't expect a lot of replys though. There are like 4 slovenians on this board.

Bordering on OT, but I know a dude in Slovenia who's gonna rip a blu-ray diode for me and build me a violet laser pointer which lights matches and such! =D Be sure to see vids when that happens.
