Another thing I love about this day: car shows. I went to a pretty nice one earlier. They had a couple clubs there: Corvette, Corvair, Studebaker, and vintage motorcycles. They even had a Lamborghini Countach! Too bad it used to be a Fiero. images/smilies/tongue.gif

It had me fooled until I saw the interior.

^ Actually there isn't anything good on. Up until a few years ago my butt would have been firmly planted on the couch watching the Boston Pops on A&E. But sadly they don't show that anymore. images/smilies/sad.gif

I feel like watching The Patriot. Nothing like finishing off a night of fireworks with some old fashioned British whooping! images/smilies/tongue.gif

Happy 4th of July - I have to say this, i'm filling out my application for US Citizenship. They ask some funny questions. No, not a commie or a nazi. One question is kinda tricky, have I ever advocated (directly or indirectly) overthrowing any government......um, yeah....a few times.

Anyway...I recently moved to this new condo, overlooking a lake....and Universal Studios not too far away. So I got to see a spectacular fireworks display. I recorded some, maybe i'll put it on youtube eventually.

Yes the Orlando area has brilliant fireworks, even when its not even close to July 4th! I shot quite a few off between 10 to 12, now my ears are still ringing.

Sorry for being a bit America-bashing right now, but that's as silly as that thing you have to sign when you buy computer equipment from US companies, "are you going to use this equipment for terrorism?".

There is another question about being part of any terrorist organization or something also. But I bet you there are some stupid people out there that will probably tick "yes"....so it's better to have it on there.

We've been talking about such tests over here too. When some Norwegian people tried it, 60% failed, including the guy that had been pushing for the test, lol.

Dunno what they made of it, probably dropped it.

Today's Lesson, kids: Tests of history aren't a bad idea, but make sure the questions require you to know what the average citizen ACTUALLY knows, not what he SHOULD know.
