I am struggling with the last question on my Maths homework. It is very difficult and is to do with circle properties. I would greatly appechiate it if anyone could help find me the awnswer and explain how they reached it. I have done the other 9.
This is a scan of the question from my text book: ![]() The words half copied on the left hand side are: the (first line) and write (second line). Please help

CD is a diameter? So it goes through the middle point? Bad picture.

Never done this before in maths all I can say is x +2y = 180 degrees obviously so y is 60 degrees.

The problem with this problem is that there are no givens, outside of the fact that CD is the diameter of the circle and that AB is tangent to the circle. The inside angle of the triangle BCT and triangle BDT are not given, therefore you cannot assume x + 2y = 180. That and saying that "x + 2y = 180 there for y=60" is also incorrect because as far as we know x does not equal y, and BCT is not an equallateral or isocolies triangle.

FFS
What a stupid mistake. but no problem since that means 2y+x=270-180=90 ![]() @YF19pilot: you can't open the picture? Blame my school, it's their hosting
