Bill Gates could sue my ass and win, I'd still think his software empire is built on ideas taken directly from Apple's OS.
I'm old enough to have witnessed the birth of the home computer and remember how Windowz came to be.

Great story. He should write a script and sell it to Hollywood now there's a drought among the script-writers there. Based on a true story......

This is really cool. Yeah, it's quite likely had I been in his shoes I wouldn't have been bothered to do all the research he did, and I'd have lost fairly quickly. Definately respect to him!
Roman, worryingly I too am old enough to remember most of Windoze domination of the home computer market! Being a huge Mac fan (even though I'm currently using my PC, and it is my main computer at the moment) I too feel that there are many parts of Window$ that are blatant rips of the MacOS. And it hasn't finished either... there's a new feature in the MacOS coming out next week called Spotlight which apparently Micro$oft again has something extremely similar to in their new version of Windows... Longhorn... Hmmm...

Yup, two too many cars, but I love 'em: 1991 Peugeot 309 - owned it for four years, currently the only runner and the daily driver... but great fun to drive! French though, so gotta treat her rough to keep her happy. 1989 Toyota MR2 Mk1 - owned it for two years. Love it loads. Currently undergoing a suspension upgrade... 1987 Toyota MR2 Mk1 SC - A project car that had Headgasket issues when I bought it. I've never driven it... yet... |
