My trip to Modena last summer :)
Yeah now i ready to post story about my trip to Supercars Valley last summer ))
Text writed by me, edited and correctly translated to English by Cruzz563 (Big tnx Cruzz ))So, my holiday had begun with the first flight from Orenburg, Russia to Moscow. I feel is necessary to tell you that the TU-134 is the worst plane on which I had flown, which, simply constantly shakes. I very much love flights and normally they have been good flights, but this one made my head ache, strongly and I dreamt that this nightmare would end soon. At around 17 hours on Moscow time, we had landed at the airport Domodedovo. Then at the trip to the airport Sheremetyevo, at 5:50 in the morning, I began to board the plane to Milan. The underground-bus at about one o'clock in the evening has reached its destination. Once I had arrived I learned I wouldn’t need to find a place to stay for the night. With ICQ not connecting, and IRC always disconnecting, I could only listen to music with my PDA. So I’m still at the airport awaiting my connection flight for THREE hours. Finally after the long delay we had risen in air on an Air Bus A-320 and my long flight to Italy has begun. In flight I had manage to get the littlest of sleep. I had arrived in Milan, only to be disappointed by the weather, there was a rain and the sky was simply black. Next the plane to Bologna was not impressive at all (it is possible to see in the photos). But it was obviously better than our TU-134. The final point of my route was Modena. Having arrived in Bologna, I took a taxi to the station and purchased a train ticket up to Modena. Up to Modena by train then, where those 30 minutes and one intermediate station and all this time has passed. To further put me on edge I at all did not suspect it was necessary to punch the ticket and if the controller had seen it I believe my stay in Italy could begin with an impressive penalty. But all had turned out well, from the station by a taxi I had reached the hotel where, once I had arrive, I went straight to a bed and had fallen asleep. Having woken up in the evening I took a shower and decided to go for a walk and check out the area. As a result I found out that the hotel was in a suburb far from the center of Modena, in the area Tre Olmi. Where there lived basically older people engaged in agriculture. From the hotel the remarkable kind of arable land opened, numbers of cowsheds, vineyards and in the mornings you could hear the roosters crowing. The next day I had decided to go into Maranello, to a Ferrari museum and at the same time to take a walk about the Ferrari factory and their test track. I asked reception to call to me a taxi, I thought they call, but here it appears they use radios for calling taxis. In general hotels, large shopping centers, restaurants, the companies such small terminals, it is enough to press one button and they are connected with the dispatcher and can check on which taxi will be there. Here at once it is necessary to tell that they include the counter, a taxi is very expensive to travel by. Well I have arrived at the museum, where the entrance was a Ferrari Store. Entrance tickets to the museum were 12 Euros, and were on sale in the shop. I looked at the collection, and it was a little disappointing, all of the road models were not there, and it was basically old sports Formula-1s. After that I had decided to sit a little to have a rest in cafe at the gallery; there I had bought a cup of coffee, espresso, and had noticed “Wine of a Ferrari.” But in connection with my plans I had wanted to take a walk in the city, and had decided to return to the wine later. While I went by a taxi, I had noticed that all that is connected with Ferrari. For the starters I had decided to visit the Ferrari Store but not the one which was in the first gallery and which stands separately, 5 minutes from the museum. I there had a discount of 20 % which I had received in the beginning, a member paid community “You & Ferrari Scuderia Ferrari Club.” The assortment, strictly speaking, had disappointed me. There was only a small part of it represented on ferraristore.com, though it is the central shop. As a result, I had chosen a polo with the trademark of Ferrari. On against an exit from the shop, there is restaurant named Cavallino, in which it would be possible to have dinner. The workers of the factory have dinner there often, but it was closed. It is necessary to say, that it appears, in August in Italy many shops and restaurants are closed, and factories simply stop manufacturing. The factory of Ferrari is surrounded with a high fence and behind the fence are bushes because of which, nothing is visible. But in one place, through a checkpoint I have seen 2 lines of standing Ferrari F430 Scuderias; which have been revealed, literally one month prior to my trip. On a fence signs constantly read that the area is under video observation. Having reached the certain place has seen any construction in territory of a factory. It had appeared, by the information stand, it is a restaurant under construction. Having bypassed around, I had then decided to visit the test track, on a way I was wonder when see our NIVA with European numbers)) and this in Maranello – city of a Ferrari))) For all time I stayed in this city of a Ferrari I saw only 3. In Modena I saw 1. On the roads basically it is possible to see small cars and minivans, especially. There are a lot of FIATs, quite often I saw Opels and Renaults. I was once passed by a BMW M6, the roar of its motor was similar to a Ferrari but all the same did not hold out. Well and so around of a track too there was a fence with vegetation, only in some places it was possible to make out a track less more. Also there was a company of workers which closed up holes in a fence around of a track. Similar fans had simply a bite a grid and made the way there)) I had then taken a walk around the city and here the rain has begun. I had then decided to return to the cafeteria, to have a drink after the day around the city, and to purchase the wine mentioned earlier. I purchased a pair of Ferrari wines, of which there was only a few left. I had left in a taxi, though actually I wanted to walk in the city more. And so I have understood there at almost in each family owned one or more cars. I arrived at my hotel already without forces, has solved more this day where to not go. The next day I had gone to Sant Agata Bolognese – home of Lamborghini. Here it is less closed than at a Ferrari. It is possible to come at least on the property, further access to the facility required cards to gain entry. I came the Lamborghini Museum entrance, where a very nice smiling blonde informed me that the museum is closed, but asks me to wait a minute and made a phone call. When she hung up, she informed me that they would open for me. I was extremely pleased to hear that. For I have traveled a long way by a taxi. I was suggested to wait for 5 minutes on a convenient chair and I enjoyed a copy of Esteem magazine, which strangely enough has a test of the Lamborghini Superleggera. A pair approached in suits to show me the museum as it was found out later that they were Italians. So to us have opened a museum and we began to go in closely examining each exhibit. A museum on two floors, old models including an off-road Lamborghini. And on the second floor modern sports cars and two concepts that had not gone on sale it was the concept S and the new Miura. For that time while we examined cars of visitors has increased and then has begun already excursion on a museum, and then onto factory!!! Well here to my happiness there was no limit! We passed through all the industrial shops. It became possible because the manufacturing just existed for tours of the factory, practically not probably in working hours precisely. We had been warned that it is forbidden to photograph inside. In general there are two lines of manufacturing: Gallardo and Murcielago. On each of them corresponding models of the cars gather. It was possible to see half-ready cars suspended on cranes. And in the end of the line there were available cars before testing, saw there literally all models issued on today including a little Superleggera which will be released in limited numbers. On an exit we were allowed to be photographed near the bull – an emblem of the company. I had visited the Lamborghini Store where I got myself a vest. Leaving, I had asked on reception to call to me a taxi. Moments later a black BMW 5 series had approached. I had thought that it was a company car of Lamborghini, but it was a taxi for me. Though any recognition symbols that it is a taxi was not. With improbable comfort I had reached my hotel. It is a little having had a rest, I had decided to go to the Internet of cafe in Modena. A third day without an Internet connection felt extremely uncomfortable. On a site of hotel had been written that there is an Internet connection and is general free-of-charge. We well have reached the central area, the sign informing me that here is Wi-Fi. But early it was to be pleased, because the place the sold access was closed. Here I have simply flown into a rage and have understood what to find an Internet in this hole simply not really. Further I have decided to take a walk a little on city with the included Wi-Fi scanner on my PDA. But from 80 with superfluous found it was not possible to be connected to one point. In Moscow with is much easier. The decision to reach to something the nearest supermarket, was accepted to buy something to eat for the evening. GPS had really come in handy on this trip. Having laid the shortest route of minutes through 15 I have reached a supermarket, bought all that I needed and returned to my hotel. Next day I wanted to visit one collection of cars, but having reached the place it appeared that it was closed also, however it would not open for me. Well, I had decided to see the city, and take photos. The closer to the center I had got I decided to check for a Wi-Fi connection and was connected to DLINK_WIRELESS, has started Internet Explorer and has come on mail.ru. At once has left in ICQ, has checked up mail, and has called home on VoIP. Then I have decided to reach factory Maserati. On GPS has laid a route, it has appeared completely not far and in 10 minutes I was already about a gate decorated tridents. But it had appeared that the Maserati Store on Saturdays is closed. It has been decided to return here to Monday for now to reach to another a supermarket on GPS naturally. When I had left the store, and waited a short period of time before my taxi arrived and I was back at my hotel. On Sunday there was nothing to do, so I had gone to Venice. Preliminary having found out on reception that it is necessary to do with a ticket before to sit down in a train. Here it is necessary to note that without knowledge of English in the Europe, nothing it would be very difficult. The translator on PDA was not useful. I had reached the station, have taken the ticket up to Venice at what I knew that there are 2 stations, thanking in advance the laid route on GPS had taken up to the latest which is directly along the sea. Tickets for trains are one of the cheapest ways to travel from Modena to Venice through Bologna (197 km.) Second class had only managed me all of 9.40 Euros. After 2 and a half of hours of having left from station, I arrived in Venice…the finest kind on city opens. These houses standing on water, the most beautiful bridges, narrow streets, all this is Venice. One truth, to walk through the city was a bit dull, because many people walked in pairs in this very romantic small town. By the way, in Venice I often heard Russian speech but in Modena I only heard it 3 times. After a while I decided to get back to the station. Here it is necessary to tell that without a map or knowledge of Italian or GPS, it is better to not come. Without it, getting out of the city would have been impossible. On GPS I have laid a way up to station, I didn’t have far to go. Sometimes on narrow streets it lost the satellite and then it was necessary to go on intuition and to be guided on the remaining part of the map. I was guessing where to turn; once I turned where I wasn’t supposed and had to go back. Since morning on Monday as always I had breakfast in the hotel. There was a buffet every day, a coffee machine, fresh juices and fruit. Once there were melons and watermelons cut by slices. They strongly differ from ours, they were very sweet but not so juicy. And so having had breakfast I had gone once again to the Maserati Store. Driven by taxi had taken me directly up to a service barrier, behind which was a factory, the guard looked at me. There at the left was an entrance to a shop, in the shop cars Maserati and firm things where I also have taken to myself. Having spent almost all my money and only having money left for a taxi up to hotel and a taxi up to the airport I decided to take a walk one last time across Modena, I had reached the center, and sat in the park. Here I had remembered that I wished to visit the house where Enzo Ferrari was born, quickly having got on my PDA, I laid a route up to his house, it appeared I only had to go about a kilometer. Having quickly found it, there was an information stand saying about that in this house was lived the greatest person and in 2008 a museum is planned to open. I had returned to the center where had noticed a parked taxi, I got in and left for the hotel. The last day I got enough sleep because I knew I had to get up at 3:30, to leave the hotel and use my remaining money to sweep up a taxi to the airport. And had turned out for the night, woke up the next morning, took a shower, collected my bags and had gone on night motorways. The roads were nearly empty and I was able to reach the airport quickly. And here only having entered I see on an information panel that my flight to Rome is cancelled! I was simply in horror, how as I going to get back?! Opposite to the panel burned numbers of racks of registration. At first no one was attending them, but about 10 minutes later someone was. I approached the young man as soon as he showed, and asked him what I could do. He then suggested I fly to Milan, then to Moscow, I had agreed. So he issued a boarding pass to me up to Milan and then up to Moscow. It is necessary to tell on time my arrival has moved almost on an hour. It IS a LP640; if you've got TG 09x05 on your PC, then compare the traits of the rear end, especially the exhaust, in Jezza's review of it; it's the same.

That is the LP640. The tailpipe, the lights and the little triangular thingies in the rear bumper all speak LP640.
