need help - what watch should i get?

So i want a new watch.

this is what i wear every day:

My budget is about 250$-300$. I would like it to be car related (but its not a must) and i do want a metal band. This will my "good watch". what do you recommend?

Are you looking for a dress watch, something formal? Do you like something simple? Analogue? Digital? Do you want a high-quality "everyday" watch that can be worn formally?

Preference to square vs round faces? Chronograph look or no?

How about this one? Seiko Arctura, about $300 (use Froogle to find the best prices)

My favorite watch is a Maurice Lacroix. Unfortunately they really changed the style since I got mine and their prices are much higher.
