true, i've taught 2 people the petrus method which doesnt have realy that many algorithms which makes it alot easier if you have a bad memory. im lerning now the Fridrich method which has about 80 algorithms to learn but i have a good idea of how the cube moves and how to get pieces where i want em so i think i'm ready

I applied to be a aircraft mechanic for my military service.
I didnt make it.

I just passed my A+ Certification exams.. been working on this for a several weeks now. I passed both with scores of over 800, 700 was needed. The most annoying bit, is having to wait at least a week before I can request the actual certificate!

I recently got another student job as a translator for technical documentation for a reasonably large software solutions firm, zetVisions.

I think I got a job from Lehman Brothers and Google... very hard to choose from both since they are my dream jobs

In my college, I received a special recognition award from the vice chancellor himself because of my excellence in mathematics and physics...


in February 2007, I was referred to the AUDI Futurecom TME (DTM) by Sabine Schmitz, they took my test drive and approved of me, but I was rejected on the grounds that I am 19 years old with no past experience of motorsports and I had suffered a coma ( because of which I suffer from memory loss and split personality sometimes)

And I never scored below 90% in any of the exams I appeared in...


I hope this is something I can be proud of... can't I?

Got my university degree a week ago and now hold the title "Diplom-Betriebswirt" which is somewhere in between a bachelor and a master of business administration. I alos got a job and am working full time now, hence I miss out precious time for finalgear and the forums

So we can write about defeats as well? My Patient that was gonna get me trough my 2 Prothetics Semesters (3 bridges, one really big, 2 normal ones and a crown, 29 points out of 50 needed for the 2 semesters, in each of which you make 6 anyway for the basics) didn't show for the 2nd time that week, 4 times overall, and it looks like he won't come back, since he doesn't answer his phone and the doctor assigned to me already prepared me for the worst.

Lesson learned: Never rely on ex cons + ex drug addicts!

That's awesome! Good job, mate.

With my new promotion at work if we make our plan sales on the "5 Days of Christmas" (Black Friday, Dec 14, 15, 21, 22) we get $50 AmEx gift card, 1 per each day made. It's not raw cash but hey, free funds sound good to me.

Just got a job at a car dealership in the parts department as a shipper/receiver. Best part of the job? I'm driving around town all day delivering parts to body shops after I spend like an hour sorting through the daily stock. Awesome.

well, it's not super brilliant, but i finished tafe finally. UAI of 83.35, which will get me into the course i want (i hope). not a bad mark for doing a 2 year course in one year + working.

well i took up break dancing in october.... im usually quite shy and reserved so doing something like this is totally new for me.

after never doing any of it before i can now successfully hold a baby freeze, air baby, shoulder freeze, head stand and hand stand.

never ever done a handstand before november and now i can hold one for a good period of time! i love it!
