Just wrapping up freshman year of college, headed off to India for the majority of the summer in less than a week and I just found out that I got a job here next year as a dispatch computer assistant for the resident computing service. I make sure all of the labs in the buildings are functional. I also got a promotion in our investment club to associate, which makes me 2nd in command for a sector of 10 and first in line to replace the next sector leader to leave.

I should be graduating this coming Sunday, June 15th from UC Riverside. I've been going to college off an on, which is why I'm 27 and just barely getting my BA (in American History). I have an A in all four classes going into finals, so I might just pull off straight A's my last quarter. I'm the first person to graduate from college in my family, except for my dad.

I am done with my freshman year (finally) and I am headed off to India. I don't know how good the internet will be there, but I hope I can get on FG at least once a week. I'll leave tomorrow, so I may still be online until then.

I am now officially in the delayed entry program for the United States Air Force. I scored very well on the ASVAB (an aptitude test that determines which jobs you're eligible for) and my physical exam revealed I'm in perfect health. That means I'm fully qualified for all the jobs I had in mind. Now it's just a waiting game until a job opens up and I can head off to basic training. I can't wait to get started!

Jaipur. I like the program I'm in and most of the people are cool, but Jaipur is pretty dull once you've done all of the touristy stuff. It's like the Sacramento of India.
