Rep Power: 23 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | the first one looks the best. Second one looks a bit out of proportion with the thin wristband (but that could just be the photography), and the third one is way too cluttered.

| I'd go with the one that easiest to read at a glance.

Rep Power: 22 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I just saw all of them in my hand. The Seiko looks great. The Tissot is awesome - It has a touch screen and depending on where you touch different features turn on. It has a compass, baro and all the usual stuff. However, it's really shiny and as said the proportions look strange. The Citizen looks really cheap and cluttered in real life. So for now, seems like I might get the Seiko. It's also the cheapest of the 3 which is a bonus. However, is it pretty much rendered useless in the dark? If anyone can suggest any alternatives I would be grateful ![]()

As for alternatives...is form or function more important, and what functions do you want? I have a great Citizen chrono that's almost Movado like in its simplicity, except for the fact that the black face is an LCD that hides a second LCD below it with all the digital chrono features. Pics here, though it looks better in real life than in those pics. The model number is JU0010; I got mine on eBay, and that's probably the cheapest place to get it. Anyway there are loads of different styles of Seiko and Pulsar (their downmarket line with same innards) chronographs; go to any website like watchzone.com or princetonwatches.com and browse to your heart's content.

Labcoatguy, I don't really care about form or function. I will get whatever feels right. For tough function I have a g shock. The only thing that is a 'must' is a metal/titanium strap. I hate rubber and leather straps.

![]() You can get it in a variety of solid colors or striping schemes; this one is a UK regimental pattern worn by James Bond in From Russia With Love, and I have it with my Citizen diver's watch. I've found the Seiko-Citizen forum ( http://www.network54.com/Forum/78440/ ) to be a pretty good resource if you're thinking about Japanese watches; the guys there tend to prefer really expensive dress watches with mechanical movements, but they'll give you worthwhile advice on anything relevant.
