It's diesel powered, gives barometric pressure, temperature and altitude readings and I think, possibly, I haven't figured it out just yet, it tells the time.

I do like watches, and I should replace this one, but I've had it for 10 years now, and it's such a great workhorse that I don't want to get rid of it.

Not great with a suit though 8)
Diesel?????
Kidding.

Here are mine. On the left is a cheap Berenger I use every day, and on the right is a Citizen Eco Drive I use for formal occasions.

The one I currently use every day. Just a cheap-ish Casio watch.

Just got this.
http://www.argos.co.uk/wcsstore/argos/images/2772006SPA65UC259149X.jpg
It was on sale for less than half price and it has a 10 year battery guarantee and a free replacement when the first battery dies.

Nope, I meant that I have four watches...and now I have five, after selling one and buying two more.

marsianer, you reminded me about how much I liked that Citizen diver, and sold a no-name beater (for the same amount I paid for it half a year ago, no less) to get mine:
http://www.duke.edu/~yt10/watchpics/ny0040.jpg

The blue rubber strap was a pain both physically and aesthetically, so I replaced it with a NATO strap, but it still doesn't quite work, so I have a black nylon strap and a steel band coming in the mail from Australia and Hong Kong. Gotta love eBay.

http://www.duke.edu/~yt10/watchpics/pjn163.jpg

I've had this beast for over five years, and it's a poster child for why you should always get a solid stainless steel case rather than something with "base metal" underneath: you can see the brass peeking out where I tried to Dremel some dirty spots.

http://www.duke.edu/~yt10/watchpics/elginPQS.jpg
IMO this is the most metrosexual of the watches I have, all flashy silvery bits. It's supposed to be functional, but all its functions are screwed up by really slow analog hands and overall bad design. It's solar-powered, though, so I don't mind it lying around most of the time

http://www.duke.edu/~yt10/watchpics/worldtimer.jpg
This is my workhorse, with all the digital functions and most of the style of an analog beast. The band, incidentally, comes from the watch above it. If you couldn't tell, none of these watches are on their original bands or straps.

And for an encore, here's my Russian watch on a gray NATO strap, oh the irony:

US$100. The price has come down some since they first came out with it, although they don't make it anymore.

I got one of these off eBay about two and a half years ago. It was (I think) $175 new and I got it for $50 shipped. It was only 4 months old. The original band is toast but it keeps on going. It's my longest lasting watch I've had so far. The flight computer is useful for converting American to the mysterious metric system. images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Now I'm wanting a similar watch that has a digital readout for GMT. I'm tired of always having to figure it out when I go flying. Any suggestions?
