Somehow, I got a 9/10 on a quiz today. Despite being awake from Sat noon till 6PM Sunday and not once touching the book. And it being the hardest chapter.

I'm slowly going nuts. I swear. I'm going to end up screaming like a banshee as I run to my watery grave in the river, one of these days.

This kitten and his constant mewing and being annoying are not helping.

    He is cute, though.

If he's mewing then he wants food, love, cuddles, or to be played with. They're quite simple really. They remind me of men.

Mine's HDMI on a 106cm plasma and it hasn't done that, and I've had it for almost a year now. I'm quite curious as to what that is...

There's this guy going through his mid-life crisis who lives a couple of houses down from me, and he has an MX5 with the biggest fart can I've ever seen. He constantly drives up and down the street really quickly with the top down thinking he's awesome even though all the car does is make a lot of noise and go nowhere......

I wish he could understand how much of a douche he is and stop waking everyone up at 2am in the morning. Compared to an old neighbour who had a single turbo 600bhp+ Supra, his MX5 sounds downright pathetic.

I'm starting driving school today. Will meet with my instructor for a chat at around 1pm, then it's off for a mandatory psychological exam and then, if the schedule allows it, one hour of driving around. However... one hour of driving around in traffic jams.

Its sort of died down the last couple of days, but if he starts doing this shit again I think some other neighbours and I will go talk to him about it first.

If it doesn't improve, then its police time.

Bugger, failed the MOT. Actually I was expecting that because the exhaust was leaking but I also have a list as long as both arms of bits that need doing. They are:

Welding needed on a chassis outrigger
Rear brakes are binding (I had them sorted a few months ago )
Most of the suspension bushes are perished
The hazard light switch doesn't work
    The indicator switch is faulty
    Track rod end needs replacing

So it's staying at the LR specialists for a week to get it all fixed. I'll start looking for change down the back of the sofa now...

God I WISH we had MOT's here in Aus. There are some totally sub-sub-sub-standard vehicles on our roads and they need to be bloody taken off!

I realise with that wording that I'm making your car sound sub-standard, which I'm not! Just saying it's a great process to catch elements of a car that may no longer be roadworthy and need to be fixed.

funny thing, we used to have mandatory annual vehicle inspections for EVERY car. Now it's a lotto system where about 5% of vehicles are checked annually (and I do not know anyone who has been asked to present their vehicle for testing), as well as random car park checks by inspectors. Considering a quick walkthrough of many carparks reveals the tyre treads (or lack thereof) and seeing on the roads the lack of working head and tail lights is increasing my nervousness about what is out on the road around me. If someone couldn't be bothered checking or replacing a little globe in a taillight, what else are they not checking or fixing?
