I got my rear springs and shocks replaced today. It was good fun because at the beginning of summer I got new tires, and they recommended new shocks simply based on a little time table they had in their computer. Then I went in and asked them to do the springs as well, becase on a recent road trip we had loaded the car up fully and the rear mudflap had started scraping the road after bounces (usually a bad sign).

They didn't seem to enthusiastic about it (I don't know why, they get more money that way) until one of them stood on the rear bumper. Then they just kinda looked at me and said "Oh.... wow".

Anyway, now the body rolls much less, the road feel is much improved, and the handling just generally doesn't suck as much.
Of course, it is an old Volvo, so the handling still really sucks.

Yeah, a lock would have really been enough... Desparetly insulting remarks can always be edited by a mod (thats what a mod has to do, and not just delete stuff, IMO...)

If there is any way to put it back up, please do. The photoshops that I was able to see were not "out of hand", it was just harmless fun. Now, I'm really curious why it was deleted. images/smilies/lol.gif

i thought the ...... on top of the images was too much for a remark...

but what has been done is done....don't think the topic can be regenerated...maybe should put a rule for no family/friend chop rule up there as well....in case things get worse, no one will be seriously offended.

I got my gcse's results today (i'm not sure what the equvaliant is in other countries!). I got A's in english literature, maths, history and geography. B's in Business communication studies, french, english, graphics and two b's in science. And a C in art.

Hopefully at least the english people will understand all that. images/smilies/lol.gif
