A state trooper pulls a car over for speeding. In the car is an old lady, who is hard of hearing, and her husband.

When the trooper asks the lady for her driver's license, the lady responds, "Heh, what did he say?"

The old man speaks up and says, "HE NEEDS YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE."

A few minutes later, the trooper comes back to the car and says, "Ma'am, I see you're from Florida."

The old lady comments, "Heh, what did he say?"

Again the old man speaks up saying, "HE SEES YOU'RE FROM FLORIDA."

The old lady nods her head.

The trooper mutters, "Boy, one time, I got the worst piece of tail I ever had in Florida."

The old lady replies, "Heh, what did he say?"

The old man yells, "HE SAYS HE THINKS HE KNOWS YOU!"

Why is this / called a forward slash? If I were to write it on a paper, the pencil would be going back, since it starts on the top right and goes to the bottom left. Or am I a strange person and everybody else starts it from the bottom, and it indeed goes forward?

Found a collection of my old files on CD's. I used to listen to Busted and MIDI's images/smilies/ohmy.gif

Knew it'd come back to haunt me so I might throw the CD's in the river.

I love finding old CDs that I used to listen to. Its only decent maybe 1/5 of the time, but still.

Oh, does the fact I can tell a huge quality difference between a CD and plugging my ipod into my car via a 1/8 direct input jack make me an audio snob?

When I started buying CDs I was a completely different person with TOTALLY different taste. I found some of my old ones not too long ago and... damnit, it was frightening.

Umm, not really. CDs are much higher quality to begin with compared to MP3 files, and the headphone input you're using is analog only. I dunno, but I'm no audiophile and I can tell the difference between original (or even burnt) CDs and iPod music.

I'm the same with weird old CDs. I'm not gonna bother going through them, but off the top fo my head I know I have some Savage Garden, Aqua... even that totally gay Lou Bega single. Hmm, I'm gonna go shoot myself.

It's music and she has a fantastic voice. Before she was ever on The Office (which I have never seen), she had a small role in The Rocketeer; she played the singer at The South Seas Club and sang Begin the Beguine and When Your Lover Has Gone.

I waited years for her to do something else.
