What I especially like is how he blames all the problems on the previous government but is all to happy to claim that the surplus was all him.

Is the rep power system completely arbitrary or is there some kind of logic to it? Perhapse I will go ponder with this guy.

Don't some people on eBay just shit you?!?!

I've just sold something and the guy who purchased just sent an email asking how much extra it is for express or registered post.

1. It's all there, right in front of you in the checkout section you idiot, learn to read.
2. The only postage options available are also listed in the checkout section so don't bother asking for a postage option that I haven't offered!

Gah!!!

On another note, the weather's awesome today, just home for a lunch break then back to Uni again later today... Great thing about living a 15min trip from Uniimages/smilies/smile.gif

Anybody here ever buy something off craigslist?
And what were your experiences?
Need to get a few rare items which almost never come up on facebook but I see a few on craigslist in my area.

Haha, I'm honored that you guys are so concerned with my social life. I would have if she didn't look to be 30 and married; not that there's anything wrong with looking like that and still being cute, but her tazer looked even more menacing than her gun...

Anyway, another lovely problem with this place (besides the people who drive down the street, get out at every yard, peer through the garbage, and drive off) is the fact that the damn garage door is stuck. In an overzealous attempt to protect the broken toilet, Abercrombie bags, cracked door and window frames, and enough house paint to deface the Sistine Chapel 12 times over, I've slammed the door so shut to the ground that it's jammed shut.

It's at a 5 degree angle and won't move an inch upward no matter how many tries I use with an improvised bedframe/paint can lever device. There's no other way into the garage other than from the door, and the right side has a gap that's about 3 inches tall; barely enough to fit my dismembered arm through. The left side is half an inch off the ground.

Any idea if I should call anyone? (Besides Ghostbusters.) I'm tempted to call the fire department and see if they can help me out with some amazing hydraulic machinery, or a general contractor for something similar. I'm already planning to bitch at the landlord tomorrow about it...to give him fair warning before I smash the door down with an axe and maybe convince him to joyously enter the late-20th century with one of them fancy electric openers.

Trying to think of something witty to say regarding using your taser to stun her etc etc...

Well, normally for a door with a broken lock you call the locksmith ... but what you have is a broken door, so fire department it is. Mind you, if I understand this correctly, there only 3 inches of clearance from the ground, and if it's really stuck, the only thing left left for them to do is take a battering ram to it. You might want to call your landlord BEFORE calling the fire department.

^ I thought the fire department was for emergencies only? I'd probably call a contractor but I'd think that would be something the landlord would have to do. images/smilies/dunno.gif
