131Since no one else has suggested it yet, try GIMP. It's free and is quite good.
131This thread has reminded me of a joke:
Girl walks into a bar and asks the barman for a Double Entendre.
So the barman gave her one.
Yeah, it could go in the joke thread, but it was also a random thought, so neeeer![]()

EDIT: oops, Firecat scooped me on this one.
131^There's going to be some very amusing re-mixes coming up.
Depending on what your project is, you could try an old 'abandonware' image editor?
I use Paint Shop Pro 5* - 1998's finest software - and it does fine for what I need it to do. I think Viper might even use PSP3?
37@ Barack Obama.

Obama link doesn't work...![]()

1119So I have to go on an online dating site for one of my writing classes, and print out profiles to "analyze the rhetoric used" used by these random people. So far it's been more entertaining than it should be, and I like to play the "guess what car they drive" game. It's easy to tell which ditzy girls drive Jettas and which no-neck New Jersey douchebags drive BMWs.
Well, it was fun until I came across the profile of this creepy, smelly guy with a lisp that I went to high school with and was kind of a dick. Same Facebook picture and everything. I gagged slightly in my mouth.![]()
0Just got a $150 ticket on a deserted county road for 7 mph over. I feel it's fitting to post this. . .
Apparently someone was straight up looking in the book, others probably had notes and someone else was less than discreet seeing as the Professor knew exactly how much the kid had paid someone for a copy of last semesters exam.
80Leaving for Top gear live now.![]()
331One of my professors last year completely didn't care that students had access to his old exams. Normally I wouldn't care either, except that half of the questions on his exams were copied verbatim from his old ones, and the others were the same, just with different values.![]()
25^That happens quite often with our more busy professors. Guy is ahead of a important research lab and travels a lot.. so he has a pool of questions which he uses to form the exam. Of course, we try to find every one of those questions on previous exams, just like a treasure hunt. Funny thing is when the exam is EXACTLY the same as a previous one that you had access to.
@Chaos: pardon my ignorance.. but is the King Abdullah uni in SA? Word is they're coming with offers to pretty interesting exchange programs... I won't be able to accept one right now, as I'll already go to Lyon, but could be an interesting idea to a Master's.
