Road Trip - advice needed
Well me and the better half have booked for the french gran prix at Magny Cours this year. Planning to travel over on the friday staying in Bourges for the race.
Idea is to then spend the week after touring our way back to Calais, stopping over in places en route up until our ferry back the following Saturday. So what i need is ideas of places to go. Woudlnt mind doing a bit of the old wine tasting etc (good excuse for a piss up) but otherwise dont know much about where to visit. Will be avoiding Paris like the plague as i really dont wanna drive round it  so any ideas folks? |

I have no information. Wine tasting is good, you are pretty close to Bordeaux.
Very cool that you are going there, too bad it is in the heart of France so that a quick trip to the Eiffel Mountains of Germany would be quite a long drive...

might take in a bit of WW nostalgia
Bordeaux was a thought of mine, its a little further south but should be worth a look i reckon. any other ideas folks, any places people have been? |
