Default So I'm redoing my blog...

I hate the look of my current blog (boring, tired of it, and it's powered by b2evolution) and so I'm redoing it using WordPress. Here's what I have so far, but it's just a downloaded WP theme: http://www.viper007bond.com/

Anyone want to try and make me a better layout? I can turn a layout into a WP theme, but I lack the artisic skills to create a layout itself.

CSS (i.e. table-less) is highly preferred, but I may look past it if the layout is really kickass. I'd probably like it to be a 2 column design (large left content one, smaller right side nav one, or visa-versa if you think it'd look better), but again since I lack artistic talent, if you think something else would be better, go for it.

I also think a small banner at the top would be cool, kinda like here with a red Viper and like Viper007Bond.com somewhere in it. I also kinda like these forum colors, but I think it has too much white for my blog. But let me point out I'm not saying I want a blog template that looks exactly like this forum. I'm just saying I happen to like this color scheme, but you go with what you think would look best for my blog. That doesn't mean pink though. images/smilies/tongue.gif

Questions? Post. images/smilies/smile.gif

Looks already better...

Anyway, is it possible to run a blog on the same server as a php/mysql powered webgallry system? I was thinking of doing something like wordpress for my hp, but never dared to try it so far...

By when do you want it by Viper? I think I might be able to do one to repay ya for the awesome TG's that you've given us.

Yes, as they use different table names.

No hurry. I think I'm gonna throw my blog up with the current downloaded theme and then switch to something else later on. images/smilies/smile.gif

I'm sorry but blogs are stupid.

Who the fuck wants to read about your life? Get real friends to talk about that, jeez.

And this rant isn't meant especially about you Viper, I don't even know how yours looks like, but usually they're so damn lame, the only lamer thing is people who do read blogs.

Hey, I'd love to do graphics for your new blog. I'm in the trainign stage of becoming a graphics designer, and I think I could come up with some awesome stuff for you. If someone can code, but not do graphics, let me know. images/smilies/thumbsup.gif

I know it's easy to edit / create a theme and I know I can do it, I just don't have the artistical skills to create a template to turn into a theme. images/smilies/tongue.gif

Hmm, I think I'll stick with this theme, at least for the moment. (But of course if anyone makes me anything better, I'll use it. images/smilies/tongue.gif)

Anyway, I widened it up and replaced the image at the top with my own and I think it looks a lot better now, don't you? images/smilies/smile.gif
