You might want to check that again. The correct answer is große Pause.
Like in long break. I don't know the correct English expression. It means something like the lunch break during school.

Is it me or is that sentence missing something??? I would say "Jens und Sven haben eine grosse Pause" <-- that makes more sense to me than the sentence posted.

Bavarian slang isn't that bad. You just can't understand anything. I remember my dad giving some guy a ride to Viechtach from Teisnach. We had no clue what he was saying and finally spoke in regular German.

I've studied German 8 years now, so I have the extensive course. I just had my matriculation examination a week ago, and now it seems that I missed only one point from the best note (it's not sure, the real results come in the end of May). I just made few little mistakes in every part of the test, so that did it. Same thing happened in autumn in English too... I got 274 points. With 275 I could have get the best note, and the maximum was 299.

Only thing that irritates me in my German, is the fact that I can't speak it so well. Too little practice. But these grammar exercises I find rather entertaining, I've always liked grammar.
