Just a little something I wanted to share. My engineering prof said to me that he verifies students' internet sources by using this website that keeps record of every website (over 55 billion) ever created on the world wide web, even if they are not available anymore. So if you are looking for a page made in 1996 but is no longer available, as long as you have the original address you can still view the original site! The coolest thing since Google and Wikipedia.

It's not necessarily true. It does what it can to keep an accurate record of the internet, but sites can state whether they want to be included (through the use of a robots.txt file). Also, their systems aren't able to get an image of each site each day, due to sheer volume of sites (let alone multiple times through the day).

hokiethang says it right images/smilies/smile.gif. It's fun though, for the websites that do work. Its great to see a website you daily visited a couple of years ago again.

Yeah that is a pretty cool site. My web designer friend uses it to show clients how much they need to update their web sites.

I also thought somebody was making a News Radio reference. images/smilies/lol.gif
