i m lookin for a program that helps a person change mp3 to other formats... witout spyware and payin fo the program?oh and is it true the other formats compared to mp3 uses less memory

BeSweet. Great free apps. MP3/OGG is compressed, it takes less space on your Hard Disk, other formats like PCM are uncompressed but are huge in terms of file size |

Memory? I think you mean a smaller filesize.
And it all depends on the bitrate. You can have VBR (variable bitrate) MP3s which drop the filesize a lot usually.
