To be honest, theres a tool in photoshop which gives off a very realistic, HDR-esque effect.
Image > Adjustment > Shadow/Highlight This was your average, taken into the sun/blown out pic: ![]() Not quite HDR, but similar.

Its underrated. The funny thing about some of the "HDR" examples is that they can actually lose detail thanks to the contrast people crank up. Its an interesting effect but though. |

Here's my oldie HDR shots done with this software and crappy Canon A460 or something xD
http://flickr.com/photos/hotcooler/6...7600496038194/ - This is good for showing off the colors. http://flickr.com/photos/hotcooler/6...7600496038194/ http://flickr.com/photos/hotcooler/6...7600496038194/ - this shows the whole point of HDR. http://flickr.com/photos/hotcooler/6...7600496038194/ http://flickr.com/photos/hotcooler/6...7600496038194/ http://flickr.com/photos/hotcooler/6...7600496038194/ - this shows the whole point of HDR. All of them processed out of 3 JPEGs with -2,0,+2 expousures. All taken using tripod.

Sorry for HUUUUGE bump (I figured it wasn't as bad as it was in a tiny sub section) but can I have a PM with it as well please. It really is a brilliant program, but it gets in the way sometimes. Pretty please!

I have in the recent past found a copy of this, but can't remember where I downloaded it from. But I'm re-uploading it and will send a link to everyone who asked for it.
